Our Law course is for future Solicitors, Barristers, Legal Executives, Paralegals, Police and many other legal related professions. Students will explore some of the key legal frameworks and how they relate to various career paths open to them in the future.
Students will spend at least 20 hours per week in challenging academic seminars and lectures within some of the world’s best universities. With world-class teachers and tutors, students will cover key topics such as; The UK Legal System, Criminal, Contract, Human Rights, Property and Animal Law.
All modules are designed to bridge the gap between school/college and undergraduate level, and are designed to inspire and challenge students. This course is open to UK and international students.

Our courses deliver academic content that is designed to challenge and provoke intellectual curiosity among students. Our passionate and experienced tutors will guide students through some key principles and topics. Students will be supported and guided through interesting topics such as:
Module 1 – Criminal Law
Explore the fundamental principles of criminal law. Students will consider some of the main offences under UK law such as homicide, criminal damage, various levels of assaults and offences under the Theft act of 1968 (theft, robbery and burglary).
Module 2 – Defences under Criminal Law
Investigating the various defences used under Criminal Law. Students will explore defences such as intoxication, automatism, duress and self-defence.
Module 3 – Fundamentals of Contract Law
Contracts have formed a vital part of society for centuries. Taking a look into the past to the formation of contracts and analysing how contracts are a key part of law. Students then progress into analysing the formation and contents of contracts and analysing case studies of disputes and terminations.
Module 4 – Property Law
Students will explore the world of property law that covers typically immovable property such as real estate and land.
Module 5 – Human Rights
A truly fascinating area of law, Human Rights. Students will explore topics such as; the right to life, miscarriages of justice, the right to a fair trial and prisoner’s rights.
Module 6 – Structure of the UK Legal System
Students will explore the different types of law and understand how laws are created and updated. Looking into the structure of the law courts and the roles within the courts.
Tutors’ topics may vary slightly depending on their area of study and industry expertise, but all topics will be consistent with current top-ranked university curriculums.
