Hands-on Nursing Work Experience

This course will give you the hands-on nursing work experience all the universities are looking for. You will become the nurse and be involved in multiple activities such as taking blood samples, wound management and caring for patients. This will give you the opportunity to find out if nursing is the career for you and get a head start on your first year!

Wound Care & Advanced Medication

We believe students learn best when placed in fully immersive situations. That’s why students on our course take part in scenarios where they have to work with their newly gained knowledge about wounds and medication to help the patient the best they can! That includes administering medications, injections, treating wounds or ordering various exams.

Explore Nursing as a Career

Do you want to be a District Nurse, Practice Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, Neonatal Nurse or even a Mental Health Nurse? Nursing has hundreds of careers pathways open to you and we will help you explore these options. Having a clear vision for your future will help you focus on your career goals and you can start working towards that goal from today!

Teaching By NHS Nurses and Nursing Students

Our courses are delivered by qualified and experienced NHS nurses and exceptional nursing students. This way, we ensure our students always get the best possible experience and have a chance to talk to people who have been on this journey before, and can offer a lot of valuable insight.

Mock Nursing Interviews

An essential part of this course is mock nursing interviews, where students will experience the atmosphere and the pressure of a real interview. Our mentors will be asking the same questions admission officers would be asking you during an actual interview to ensure the experience is as authentic as possible!

Multi-Disciplinary Team Challenges

Nurses are a part of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary team consisting of other healthcare professionals. In this course, students will participate in activities where they will have to work with students from our medical, paramedic, dentistry and midwifery courses to determine the patient’s condition and suggest a treatment plan. Exactly how you would have to in real life!

Student Socials

A key part of the week is the chance to make friends with like-minded students and share a one-in-a-lifetime educational trip. We organise a range of relaxed student activities in the evenings for you to socialise, relax, and unwind after a busy day of learning.

Accommodation & Meals

Accommodation, breakfast and evening meals are included every day. We use some of the best student accommodation in London. We have two main accommodation partners: Middlesex University and Stay Club. We use these as they are safe, secure and have great amenities and travel links.

Full-time Staff

Unlike many other course providers, we have full-time Medical Projects members of staff on the course at all times. All our staff are enhanced DBS checked, First Aid trained and Safeguarding qualified. Our student to staff ratio is always at least 8:1 and we always have a female member of staff on duty at all times.

What Our Students Think

“AMAZING COURSE! I really felt like a doctor during the week. It ensured me that Medicine is what I want to do in the future and that I will enjoy it. I also made so many new friends!”

– Maggie (student)

“My son enjoyed the course a lot and received 4 offers from 4 different medical schools, so I guess it was more than worth it. We had some special requirements in terms of the accommodation, and the food and the staff were so lovely and really did their best to ensure we were satisfied.”

– Francis (Parent)

“Our daughter wasn’t sure if pursuing Medicine was the right option for her since she was struggling to get any work experience. We decided to book this course and it was worth every penny – very insightful.”

– Margaret (Parent)

We take great pride in creating a course that is challenging, educational, immersive and fun for our students. This combination ensures students make the most of the week and we receive excellent feedback from our students.
