Our GP Surgery

We built our own GP surgery and fitted it with state-of-the-art live streaming cameras and microphones so we can stream cases directly to you at home. We also have a teaching studio where our Doctors will teach you how to take patient histories and about each medical case.

Speak Directly to Patients

Unlike other courses that use pre-recorded videos, this course is LIVE and interactive. Students talk directly to patients about their medical conditions. After each case, there is a full review with our NHS Doctors. Real experience, real medical cases and real insight. Better than shadowing a GP – You are the GP!

Patient History Taking

Learning how to take a really good patient history is an essential skill of a good Doctor. Our Doctors will give you a framework to use that will give you a great head start on medical school. Learning how to take a patient history is also a really good test of your communication and teamwork skills!

 Real Medical Cases

All our medical cases are taken from real scenarios that our NHS Doctors have experienced as GPs. We use professional medical actors who are experienced in medical simulations. These are the same actors are cases used by top medical schools.

Experience & Insight

When applying to medical school it’s essential you have insight into the role of a Doctor. By taking the role of a GP you will gain first hand experience and insight as you speak to patients, take histories, form diagnoses and discuss medical cases with your colleagues.

Online & Accessible

With our state-of-the-art streaming technology we stream this course live via Zoom. Students will need a working video and microphone to be able to interact with our Doctors, patients and fellow students. No more rejections from local GP practices, we are open to all students.

Application Q&A

The course ends with an open Q&A where you can ask anything regarding your Medicine application journey. Our mentors are there to help you and explain to you everything you may have questions about!

All the medical cases are real and are delivered by medical actors. Every actor is prepped with an extensive medical history and will be able to answer any questions you have.

We have built a GP Surgery within a TV studio that you can access via our online platform. You will be on-screen so the Doctor and patients can see and hear you. You will be able to interact with everyone directly from your computer at home. You will need a working video and microphone on your computer or laptop.
Won’t everyone doing this course have the same experience?
Nearly half of the course is live interaction and discussion between the students, patients and doctors so it’s always unique. We don’t use pre-recorded videos, it’s all 100% live.
