Suturing Masterclass

Master the art of suturing with our NHS doctors that will teach you all the tricks to make sure you are able to close any wound to the patient’s skin. On top of that, you will keep the suturing kit that you will get as a part of this course so you can practice in your free time after the course as well!

Introduction to ECGs, MRI and CT scans

Medical technology is a wonderful thing! Being able to look inside the human body is one of the benefits this technology provides and we will look at some of the key diagnostic tools Doctors use everyday. From ECGs, MRIs to CT scans we will teach what each one is used for as well as examples of each. You will also learn how to interpret some common scans so you know exactly what Doctors are looking at everyday!

Interpreting X-Rays

Our Doctors will teach you how to read and interpret X-Rays. You will learn one of the key frameworks Doctors use when they interpret X-rays. You will be able to confidently identify a range of medical conditions such as pneumothorax, fractures and common chest infections. A great head start for when you start medical school.

Application Q&A with Doctor

As with all our courses, we will have time to reflect on the course and discuss how to use it effectively for your medical school application. We will also have an open Q&A where you can ask our Mentors questions about the application process and their experiences.
